'Padre' in 'The Erpingham Camp'
Matthew has worked in the theatre for over ten years. Having previously performed with a variety of companies based in the Aberystwyth area, Matthew started acting with Louche Theatre eight years ago. In that time, he has played a versatile selection of characters - from school bullies to playboys to dukes to priests.
Particular favourite roles include the title role in Henry Fielding's "Tom Jones", Peter in Dennis Potter's "Blue Remembered Hills" and William Mompesson in "The Roses of Eyam"
Out of the theatre, Matthew is married to his sweetheart and Louche Theatre production manager Shelley Fullwood. He works as a Computer Systems Engineer, and enjoys spending time with his wife, friends and family.
He is looking forward to playing Padre in "The Erpingham Camp". This will be his first trip to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and he is looking forward to the experience. This is the third time Matthew has played a priest on stage, but rest assured, Padre is very different to the previous clergy he has portrayed.
