'Erpingham' in 'The Erpingham Camp'

Actor. Storyteller. Musician. Writer. Workshop leader. Eco educator.

Having completed her acting training at Goldsmiths and Morley college in London Milly began her professional career with Purple Broccoli Theatre Co. She remained with the company for nearly 10years touring performances on environmental themes to diverse venues including schools, theatres, festivals, museums and parks. Milly developed not only as an artist but also as a workshop facilitator, project coordinator and fundraiser eventually becoming a director of the company. As such she co-devised, managed and delivered long term educational programmes and performances to schools. During this time Milly also honed her skills as a storyteller, writer and composer and went on to create, produce and perform 8 full length shows incorporating storytelling, visual theatre, dance, music, puppetry and art. She specialises in writing and producing theatrical adaptations of folktales, myths and legends and has toured throughout England and Wales.

The natural world has been the primary theme of all her work and more recently she has taken this interest further by studying field ecology, animal communication and plant spirit communication. She is currently developing stories and performances aimed at giving a voice to nature by tapping into it's wisdom and feeding this into the creative process. She is also involved in the re wilding movement and is director of education with the Wales Wild Land Foundation.

Milly has been performing with Louche since 2013. She was an ensemble member in Lillies on the Land, then went on to play Caitlin Thomas in Portrait of Dylan, the title role in The Snow Queen, Hannah Jarvis in Arcadia, Lady Trelawney in Treasure Island and currently Erpingham in The Erpingham Camp.
